Energy Efficiency Information

Cooke County Electric Cooperative has information on a Free Weatherization Program through the Texoma Council of Governments and Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs to low income homeowners or renters who qualify.   The weatherization program cuts energy loss in insulating, weather-stripping, installing new windows, storm windows and doors and sealing cracks and holes.   They even repair or replace your heating and/or cooling system.  Contractors who specialize in weatherizing homes can complete a house in as little as two days, at no cost to you or little cost to the Landlord.

For information about this program and other programs for schools and organizations, home energy audits, and energy conservation, please call Kathy Boone, Member Services at CCEC (940) 759-2211.

Average Payment Plan

The Cooke County Electric Cooperative Average Payment Plan is available to qualifying residential members of the Cooperative who desire to pay an average amount each month.

Your average monthly payment will be determined monthly by averaging the most recent 12 months of billing history, including the current month's billing. Because this is a moving average, your monthly bill will normally fluctuate slightly depending on your history and current usage.

Terms of this Billing Plan require all payments made on time. If payments are not received by the due date, the plan will be subject to termination. If the plan is terminated, all balances are due and payable at time of termination.

CCEC's Bank Draft Plan is strongly encouraged in conjunction with this average billing plan.

Please contact a CCEC Customer Service Representative at (940) 759-2211 to ask for a request form for average billing. They will be glad to assist you.

Bank Drafting

CCEC's Bank Draft Payment Plan lets you authorize us to draft your checking or savings account for payment of your electric bill seven (7) days after the bill date.   That saves the hassle of delivering it in person or mailing it - and ensures you'll never pay a 5% late fee.    To participate in our CCEC Bank Draft Payment Plan:

  • Complete a Bank Draft Authorization form - click the application, print and fill out, and return to the cooperative.

  • or contact one of our Consumer Service Representatives at (940) 759-2211 to have authorization information mailed to you.

Your statement will indicate "Draft Amount" on each monthly statement, and the 2% discount will also be shown.

  • Cycle 1, your account will be drafted around the 19th of each month.
  • Cycle 2, your account will be drafted around the 25th of each month.
  • Cycle 3, your account will be drafted around the 1st of each month.
  • Cycle 4, your account will be drafted around the 7th of each month.

On-Line Bill Pay

You can make a payment or access account information with confidence knowing that our secure socket layer software (SSL) is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions.  It encrypts all of your personal information so that it can not be read as it travels over the internet.  A $6.00 convenience fee will be charged to each account for on-line bill pay. We also offer E-Check on-line and no fee is assessed.        Pay Bill On-Line
